I was very excited to to create my first computer. In the midst of a pandemic, not being able to go out much I decided to buy computer parts and put them together. And this was and still is a time when some parts were out of stock. Parts like power supply units were scarce. For my build I decided to go with an AMD processor. The Ryzen 3900X to be exact. Intel had always been my go-to processor brand but AMD had surpassed Intel in technology and I decided to give it try. I started out with 32GB of RAM but later bought 32GB more just so I can have the best performance. The GPU is a Radeon RX5500 and I bought 2 1TB SSDs (Enough for the amount of VM's I want to create).

Troubleshooting and Maintaining Hardware

When it comes to fixing technological hardware, I am not affraid. I am no electrician or electrical engineer but I do my research and learn how to solve problems myself. I took apart my parents laptop (Top left and right) to clean it on the inside. Dust accumulates throughout the years and can lead to an overheating CPU if the heat can not escape. The other board is from a Samsung TV that belongs to my sister. One day a thunderstorm happened, the lights went out, and the TV no longer was functioning. So I gave it a try to fix it by replacing the board shown (Bottom left and right). I bought a used one on ebay for not too much money and it worked! I saved my sister a lot of money from having someone else repair it.
