S3 is a service provided by AWS for storage. You can create storage buckets where you can store files and folders. You decide who has access to this storage.
Route 53 is Amazon's DNS service. I used Route 53 to first buy a domain name. I then configured the domain name to point to my S3 bucket which is storing this website. It is called Route 53 because 53 is the port number for DNS.
Another Amazon service I am using is Cloudfront, which allows people from anywhere to access my website. It uses HTTPS instead of HTTP.

I remember the first Linux distribution I ever used was Ubuntu. Seeing that most Linux distributions are free and open-source, I would see what each one is about. One can easily create Linux virtual machines using a type two hypervisor. Not only did I learn about the GUI but also learned commands using the CLI.
Linux GUI's are just as easy to use as Windows or MacOS. Some are very similar in style to MacOS and then others are made in the same style as Windows. Installing Linux on an older laptop can help expand the life of that device and put it to good use. I have done this on my dad's old Dell laptop. With Windows 10, it was becoming sluggish and every update would make it even slower. So I decided to install a lightweight Linux distro on it, and the laptop was able to be used normally.
